Established in 1998 by Mark Iams-McGuire, Master CAD Designs attentively supports individuals and businesses achieve project success. Master CAD specializes in completing high quality projects without the expensive costs associated with top-heavy design firms. Mark trained with licensed architectural and engineering professionals and is supported by a team of experts in the industry. As a highly organized business, projects stay on track, are given individualized attention, and are backed up and archived daily in a secure location.
While some architectural projects require a licensed architect, many plans can be completed more economically with an experienced architectural designer. Mark's twenty plus years as a professional designer allow him to create cost-effective drawings for clients which meet California state, county, and city building permit requirements. California state laws allow unlicensed individuals to prepare plans for residential projects under two and a half stories. Structural drawings are subject to review and calculations by an appropriate licensed professional who "wet stamps" or "wet signs" said drawings.
